| The second built XB-47, 46-066 first flew on July
21, 1948. Following it's delivery to the USAF in December of that year, it served as a
flying test bed until it's retirement in 1954. It's final destination was Chanute AFB
where it was used as a maintenance and familiarization aircraft.
